Cosmo has been my past show mount on and off for the last few years. She is a daughter of Lanas Cat out of a Smart Lil Baggins mare. A big stopping, fast fence horse who with limited showing and schooling on cattle has managed to wow many people. Also used on the ranch and out on pasture, she has been a good go-to mount for getting the job done. She has had a very well rounded career and we are excited to have her start producing some champions!

Twist a beautiful mare with a gentle soul. She is as easy on the eyes as she is to handle. She is one of the first ones to come see you and is just a doll. Sired by the famous Holidoc, earner of over $100,000 in NCHA earnings and producer of close to 1 million in NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA offspring earnings. Rode as a 2 and 3 year old, she has mostly been a broodmare and is a welcome addition to our herd. She is a complete outcross to most of the modern cow studs and we are excited to see her foals in the future.

Billie was purchased as my next show mount as a yearling. Started as a 2 year old, she showed immense talent for cowhorse. Unfortunately, as life happens, she hit the back burner as we built our home, got married, and welcomed our first child to the world. She is a sweet, in your pocket mare and arguably one of the best looking mares on the property.

Jett is a beautiful homozygous roan mare. Grand daughter of Leo Hancock Hayes, one of the best breeding sons of Blue Valentine. She herself is 28% Blue Valentine bred, 10 % Joe Hancock and Jet Deck respectively. Blue Valentine horses are highly sought after for their good minds and athletic ability. She has been a capable producer of some running bred foals, with one son standing as a junior stallion in the states. We are excited to add her legacy to JS Performance Horses.

Bella has become one of those stories of horses coming full circle in one’s life. I bought Bella as an unstarted coming 5 year old mare. I started her in October of 2013, and competed on her the summer of 2014 with the NARCHC (now ASHA). She won a high fence award and placed well throughout the summer considering she had less than 1 year of riding. She was my first real “cowhorse”. I decided to sell her in the fall of 2014 as Cosmo had come into my life and such were those decisions. She found a home doing barrels and gymkhana.
Fast forward to fall of 2024, I had the opportunity to purchase her again by sheer luck. We are so happy to have her back in our pastures and excited to start her life as a broodmare. She boasts a great pedigree. She is a granddaughter of Lenas Wright On, as well as she still has Doc Bar on her papers. Not very many horses with that nowadays! She is a beautiful mare with a great build, good bone and a pretty head to pull it all together.

Miss was purchased by myself in 2014 from the Bloodstock sale at Farmfair. She has been a joy to ride and has cowhorse training as well as many years of trail riding excursions under her belt and ranch riding. She is from Gayla Quarter Horses and sired by their Freckles Playboy son High N Wicked.

Kip is a beautiful daughter of Dually Cat out of a Nitas Wood daughter. She was shown by a Non Pro in her early cutting years, as well as some cow horse. Used on a small cattle ranch in her post show years, she was retired due to a knee injury. She had one previous foal which her previous owner has kept as a personal mount.
She is currently at Bett’s Quarter Horses
